K-State Research and Extension – Chisholm Trail District connects the people of Dickinson and Marion counties with the research, knowledge, and educational resources of Kansas State University. As part of the statewide K-State Research and Extension system, the district provides unbiased, research-based education and practical solutions that strengthen agriculture, families, youth, businesses, and communities. Through specialized agents and local programming, the district empowers residents with the information and tools they need to make informed decisions and improve their quality of life.
The Chisholm Trail District offers educational programs and services in agriculture and natural resources, 4-H youth development, family and consumer sciences, horticulture, nutrition, financial management, leadership development, and community vitality.
